4th Technology of Oil & Gas Forum and Exhibition - October 21-23, Tripoli

The Technology of Oil & Gas Forum and Exhibition (TOG), is the only established oil & gas event to take place in Libya on a regular basis.

TOG is a three day turnkey event which includes an international exhibition, alongside an in depth Forum, where crucial issues concerning the future of Libya’s oil & gas industry will be debated. It will take place in Tripoli on 21- 23 October 2008.

The Fourth Symposium on the Sedimentary Basins of Libya – 17-20 November 2008 (Tripoli, Libya)
The Earth Science Society of Libya (ESSL), in collaboration with the national Oil Corporation (NOC) and the Libyan Petroleum Institute (LPI), is planning to celebrate its golden jubilee in 2008 by organising the “Fourth on the Sedimentary Basins of Libya”, which will be dedicated to the “Geology of Southern Libya”, and will encompass the southern areas of Libya – Al-Kufrah Basin, Murzuq basin, southern Sirt Basin, Al-Qarqaf Arch and the Jabel Bin Ghanimah – Dur al Qussah areas.

The aim of the symposium is to complement the previous three symposia that were organised jointly by NOC and ESSL and provide opportunities for geoscientists working on these areas to exchange ideas, share knowledge and experience.

It will be held in Tripoli, Libyan between 17 and 20 November 2008
